Feb. 24, 2025- High 乐鱼体育 South junior wrestler Brett Rankin won the NJSIAA District 26 state title over the weekend. Competing at 215 pounds, Rankin Southern's Sean Dupnak, Donovan Catholic's Brian Garcia and, in the finals, no. 1-seeded Jake Mott of Lacey to take the title.
According to a by the Asbury Park Press, Rankin is the 134th district champion in South's stellar wrestling history, and the first since 2018, when current assistant wrestling coach Cole Corrigan won the district title.
