    March 11, 2025- The Toms River Elementary Fine Arts Department hosted their annual Youth Art Month (YAM) Exhibit this year at a new location, the TRAC (Toms River Artist Community) Art Gallery, 40 Main Street in downtown Toms River.

    Feb. 27, 2025- Rare Disease Day is a worldwide movement, hosted annually on the last day in February, aimed at raising awareness among the general public and decision makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.
  • Students Bring Holiday Spirit to Town Hall

    Dec. 9, 2024-- In keeping with tradition, students visited downtown Toms River today for a three-pronged assault of holiday energy. First, students from South Toms River, Cedar Grove, East Dover, and Hooper Avenue elementary schools decorated the Town Hall Christmas tree with their own, custom-made ornaments.
  • Turkey Trot Benefits Muscular Dystrophy Association

    Hooper Avenue's annual Turkey Trot was a success thanks to Hooper students, families, staff, PTO, cross country team members, and T.E.A.M. volunteers. By working together, $1,500 was raised for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
  • For the past 20 years, Hooper Avenue Elementary 乐鱼体育 has teamed up with 100.1 WJRZ during the radio station's annual Share the Joy initiative. During the month of November, students in Mr. Hynoski's class worked hard to collect food from the school community. All food collected will support Fulfill of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and will benefit people in the local communities.

    Nov. 6, 2024-- Hooper Avenue Elementary held its annual Take A Veteran to 乐鱼体育 Day, which brought in more than 30 veterans who have served in various branches of the military.

    The 9th annual Tree of Warmth saw Hooper Avenue families donate more than 200 NEW hats, mittens, scarves and pajamas for children in need, which the school will provide to local charities throughout Toms River. Thank you for spreading the warmth!
