    March 26, 2025- The district is partnering with Fair Funding For Students (FFFS) NJ to host a large-scale gift auction June 5 at RWJBarnabas Health Arena.

    March 20, 2025-- At the March 19, 2025 Toms River School Board meeting, the district's Teachers and Educational Service Professionals of the Year were recognized and honored with commemorative plaques.

    March 11, 2025- The Toms River Elementary Fine Arts Department hosted their annual Youth Art Month (YAM) Exhibit this year at a new location, the TRAC (Toms River Artist Community) Art Gallery, 40 Main Street in downtown Toms River.

  • Students Bring Holiday Spirit to Town Hall

    Dec. 9, 2024-- In keeping with tradition, students visited downtown Toms River today for a three-pronged assault of holiday energy. First, students from South Toms River, Cedar Grove, East Dover, and Hooper Avenue elementary schools decorated the Town Hall Christmas tree with their own, custom-made ornaments.

    November 11, 2024 -- Students' families from South Toms River Elementary gathered to celebrate Dia De Muertos (Day of the Dead). The families set up beautiful and unique ofrendas (offerings) as a way to share their culture and how they honor their special loved ones who have passed away.
