Feb. 28, 2025- High 乐鱼体育 East's girls basketball team hosted a first-round game in the South Jersey Group 3 NJSIAA tourney Feb. 26, the home game being the spoils of a fabulous season. But before the game versus Delsea, there was the National Anthem, of course.

For this, the team recruited Victoria Viruet, an Intermediate East chorus student. She nailed it.

Did Victoria's beautiful Anthem rendition directly lead to the Lady Raiders 35-17 win? It's tough to say. But it definitely didn't not lead to the win, according to those in attendance.

Grace Crowley's 10 points, Brooke Gathman's 10 boards, and Kacey Briles' four steals also helped. East will face Clearview at home in the quarterfinal round tomorrow. Good luck, girls!
