Broadway star Frenie Acoba, front, poses for a photo with the cast and crew of High 乐鱼体育 North's production of Matilda Feb. 26.

March 1, 2022-- The cast and crew of High 乐鱼体育 North鈥檚 Matilda were surprised to learn that , the original Lavender in the Broadway production of the show, was in the audience during their Saturday, Feb. 26 performance. After the show, Acoba visited backstage to talk to the cast and crew about their incredible performance. Students reported that Acoba radiated positive energy and that they were truly inspired by, and grateful for, her generous and surprising visit.

And that wasn't all the HSN theatre troupe had to be thankful for, as last weekend also ushered in the news that they had been awarded $56,000 in scholarships from the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts Rising Star Awards Program.
