Superintendent Mike Citta interviewed with NJ Spotlight's Joanna Gagis last week.

March 10, 2025- NJ Spotlight News senior correspondent Joanna Gagis sat down with Superintendent Mike Citta for an interview last week which鈥攐n the heels of the state's recently-announced state aid allocations for 2025-2026鈥攈ighlighted the plight of ongoing S2 funding losers for with a focus on Toms River.

Gagis was kind enough to provide the district a portion of the interview that didn't make it to air, which is published below as additional context for district families and residents curious where the district currently stands financially.
