April 15, 2021 -- Dr. Melson's Intermediate East chorus students collaborated with acclaimed vocalist Chris Pinnella to create a virtual choir project featuring the song "I'm Still Standing." Despite all the challenges and changes of virtual and hybrid learning, Intermediate East students are thriving and Rocket Ready; each chorus student can proudly say "I'm Still Standing." In the past, Pinnella performed with Intermediate East students at the American Young Voices Concert and coached singers at a vocal masterclass at the school.
