August 16, 2018-- On the heels of Superintendent David Healy鈥檚 released Aug. 2, the community has rallied behind Toms River Regional 乐鱼体育s and its effort to restore millions in diverted state funding.
Earlier this week, the district received an unsolicited statement of support from the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce, which was drafted and signed by Economic Development Committee Co-Chair Jeremy Grunin.
鈥淥ur business community understands the importance of a great school system to a thriving city both to cultivate the next generation of leaders already here and to attract new leaders to the area,鈥� the letter reads. 鈥淲e strongly urge our elected officials to reconsider this decision and to at least restore funding to current levels.鈥�
